Global Community

I have a ton of ideas on how we can make the United States and even the world a better place. I’ve been focusing all that energy into Craftivism this year, well…ALL THE THINGS!!!!!!!!!

I have probably 300 (or more…don’t tell my husband Tim) of Dots and Ornaments like this that I need to sell so I don’t support my hoarding habits.

Well and they make people smile and I love that.

I was about to launch when Stickergate hit the small business community on Threads.

  • The business involved in Stickergate was one of the 2 businesses I had planned to highlight when I launched.

  • I had added inventory for the Portland Frog Collection, the Laughter Collection and the Inspire Collection to the website and sent her a video showing the inventory at about 11:30ish.

  • Then it all blew up and I put my website to private.

Now, I feel like that can wait and I need to focus on the Blue Dot HOPE Experiment.

  • I will be at a craft show at the end of the month (Nov. 2025) so I’ll let you know the deets if you wanna meet me there.

And Still We Rise!

I took this picture about 15 years ago. (I’m bad with dates today.)

This flower was growing in the crack of a sidewalk on the path to the front door of a Bed and Breakfast a friend owned.

I got this picture and it has represented hope to me in a TON OF WAYS.

  • Tenacity

  • Hope Persists

  • The struggle to get through the crack and the pavement

  • The beauty and even the ragged spots of the flower…she worked to get to the light

Well, it has felt like a gift and a reminder that there is HOPE and it is ok to hold onto it even when things are wild.

Why Artists?

  • I have a heart for artists. They are my people.

  • I managed and setup the Lessons Department at a local Guitar Center in 2017ish. I worked with professionally trained musicians and self-taught ones. I myself set aside singing when I lost or nearly lost my hearing in 1998 from Otosclerrosis. (spelling…will fix.)

  • I know what it is like to have a dream and maybe even a plan, but then a curveball changes your path.

  • I did end up getting my hearing back and even sang at a church for about 30 years. I’m no longer there and not even sure how I feel about church and God right now.

  • With the recent “Rapture” predictions I told God, “If those are your people, leave me here.”

  • So yeah…some complex thoughts there.

  • Anyway, I love artists…their creativity, ingenuity, their love, passion and even their impulsiveness (if they tend to have that.)
