Let the Puffin Therapy Begin!
I recently dealt with a major PTSD flair and found myself alone at the beach. A dear friend of mine told me about a trip she took earlier this year and at some point in our texting the phrase Puppin Therapy came up. (Was that you or me?)
That phrase was on my mind while I spent my time away and I decided to get some items to help me remember that Puffin Therapy isn’t just at the beach, but can be with us always.
So I brought home three stuffed Puffins.
Today, I shared one of them with a friend and it grew from there to realizing I have three (although one is set aside for my friend) and I might as well share the goodness with others.
And that is how Puffin Therapy came to be!
This website…
This website was intended to be business where I sell stuff, but for right now, that doesn’t feel authentic to who I am.
In 2025 I started painting small pieces of art and decorating them with stickers that made me laugh. It was my way of processing everything that was being thrown at us and funneling it into things that made me laugh.
It grew and so did my inventory
And grew…
Dear Brother & Sister Survivor,
January 29 was my birthday.
On January 30 the Epstein Files dropped.
My PTSD and survivor memories were rocked so I started making images that I needed and that I thought others might as well.
I started sharing them on my Threads, Instagram and Facebook accounts. That still didn’t feel like enough so I added them to my website and made it my homepage. It still is.
-
These made me laugh and hopefully you will enjoy them as well.
-
These feel like the represent so much of what I want to say to everyone.
Some were even inspired by the Portland Frog.
-
These celebrate all the things, people, and ideas we are passionate about.
-
I was so inspired by the artists, businesses and materials I was using in my art that I wanted to find a way to share them with you as well.
Within a couple hours I created over 30!
And now we have added Puffin Therapy!
I’ve turned off the pages of the store and am trying to remember how to turn off the shopping part.
As I create this Puffin Page it shows up first in the screenshot above, but the Dear Survivors will remain my homepage for now.
I need some time to create and live in my Puffin Therapy Mode, so I’m going to do that.
You can find me at one of these online locations, playing Stardew Valley, or being Jennie IRL until I figure things out a bit more.
